Rowena was born and raised in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area, where she spent her first 6 years gaining the experience that can only come from working in a large and diverse city.
She really believes in low maintenance hair and specializes in soft, natural highlights, hair painting and the French cutting technique. Being in the industry for over 10 years Rowena has studied with some of the top stylists in America–from apprenticing with American Board Colorists, taking master classes on French cutting, to holding a number of certifications with Goldwell.
Rowena’s objective is to create a personalized look for each client by analyzing his/her face shape, hair texture and lifestyle through her passion for hair color and the art of haircutting.
